Reports to: SOLUTION DIRECTOR - PSG
Location: Beijing

The PSCS is accountable to:
- Contribute to SMSG's growth commitment by attainment of windows server data center,system center server revenue goals via winning cloud &SPA opportunities as specified by the Public Sector budget.
- Contribute to Microsoft’s objective of growing market share by winning deals against IBM, VMware, Google.
- Work with support PS in driving to green, cloud related metrics on PS scorecard: "Office 365 Assigned Users"; "Hyper-V Deployments > 20 hosts", if applicable “System Center Server Mgmt Billed Revenue VTB%” and "Windows Azure Paid Customers"
- Own and orchestrating strategy and execution plan for Public, Private and Community Cloud opportunities in Time Zone, Multi-sub Area, or Subsidiary Level. Focus is on opportunities that span large Govt Agencies, Multiple Govt Agencies, or entire Govt (including EPG and SMS&P PS accounts where applicable)
- Work with the EPG PTU, EPG STU and IMDM-PS and Operators Channel team to engage with prioritized Cloud Service Providers (Systems Integrators, Hosters, Telcos).
- Establish/participate in PS Cloud Community and Deal escalation process. Ensure best practice sharing and fast escalation of PS Cloud opportunities when help is needed and drive green on all cloud related scorecard metrics
- Participate in and provide forecasting and ROB reporting for PS Cloud opportunities.

Qualifications:
- 8 years working experience or above.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Solution selling experience to enterprise customers
- Understanding of new cloud service models and architecture, business workloads such as messaging, communications and collaboration.
- Experience in public sector organizations, agencies or departments preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, and develop lasting relationships with government elites, policy makers and “C” level roles, including senior business or technical leaders with the highest levels of business acumen and expertise.
- Proven results leading teams to win complex sales cycles and negotiations. Prefer Microsoft or equivalent productivity technologies and/or services.
- Teaming/Collaboration - Demonstrates effective cross-group collaboration skills to achieve results through influence with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deep solution selling skills with the ability to understand the customer’s business and IT pains, and map to clearly defined business value. Must be able to identify risks, and translate the feature and function set into customer solutions, disqualify opportunities early in the sales cycle, and win against the competition.
- Developing strong, strategic partners engaged in immediate and long-term strategic opportunities and committed to Microsoft.
- Is a resourceful problem-solver, leveraging internal and partner resources in assigned opportunities where and when needed to do what’s right for the customer.
