Job Description:
You will base in Shanghai and report to the Deputy Head of Analytics Team. The role is to perform supporting and leading role in analyzing and completing various reinsurance analysis proposals / projects relating to non-life reinsurance business.

Responsibilities:
? Compile and verify data from clients, prepare data for various levels of actuarial analysis
? Perform actuarial analysis, mainly focusing on pricing and structure optimization, using MS Excel-based and in-house modeling tools
? Assist on development and enhancement of various MS Excel-based tools to help clients or enhance internal working efficiency
? Communicate with clients and client managers to understand clients’ needs and provide professional advice
? Mentor and work allocation to junior analysts
? Lead on preparation of analytics report and other documents as required and conduct independent presentation to clients during meeting and seminars 
? Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge on statistics and actuarial science

Job Requirements:
? At least 3 years of relevant experience in reinsurance actuarial analysis
? BA/BSc or higher qualification in Statistics and/or Actuarial Science
? Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese 
? Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
? Experience in the following is an advantage:
o Programming in VBA, SQL
o DFA software
o Reinsurance knowledge
o Reserving
? Ability to communicate with people verbally and visually
? Ability to work as a part of a team and be flexible in working hour to meet deadlines
? Ability to learn fast and work independently
