As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Business and Measurement & Analytics Business Line (BL) based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) division delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

You will be a vital member of the procurement and logistics team within the BL Function Supply Chain Management Product Group/ Measurement & Analytics Business Line / Industrial Automation Business in Shanghai /China country/NAS region}. You will support the implementation, maintenance and compliance of procurement and logistics activities.

- Working as part of the SCM team to guarantee the supply of parts (from approved vendors) to production and logistics.
- Improving RMA process and reduce RMA inventory.
- Completing annual supplier audit plan and lead supplier qualification.
- Resolving quality and technical issue timely.
- Involving in sample qualification for localization and NPI project.
- 6 Sigma projects for supplier quality improvement.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.

- Must have technical background of Electrical & Electronic, PCBA is preferred.
- 5+ years working experience as SQE or Technical Engineer.
- Good knowledge of SQE management including supplier quality and development, IQC/IPQC/OQC process.
- Must be able to communicate supply chain objectives and enough technical expertise to the organization (Operation, R&D, etc).
- Ability to work with international team members
- Willing to travel frequently on business work.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
