Job title: Sr. Supply Chain Specialist

 

Job Summary:

Manage GPU mass production at CM, drive for material readiness, engineering information delivery, build and ship schedule

 

Job Responsibilities:

1) Helps set strategic direction of inventory and supply planning: driving models for improved working capital investments in inventory, improved models for supply planning for factory optimization, flexibility, and responsiveness, and future-state direction on tools 2) Integrated financial analysis: look at supply chain risk management and the impacts of disruptions on the supply chain; analytics and recommendations for sourcing decisions and global flexibility with impact on inventory buffer levels and locations 3) Integrating forecast accuracy work from Business Management Team into the supply planning processes 4) Management and adherence to Finished Goods Buffering/ABC Classcodes/mfg strategy 5) Life cycle management of products (from SKU Approval to EOL) 6) Disposition of inactive inventory and returns. 7) Surplus inventory analysis and driving demand shaping with business units in order to consume. 8) Scraps/Reserves (projected reserves, finance close work) 9) Collaboration with Finance (costing, ASP, margin, etc) 10) Owns driving ROI analysis 11) Inventory forecasting

 

 

Job Requirements: 1) Have the ability/experience to manage multiple SMT assemblies with part counts in the neighborhood of 200 comp's 2) Have experiencing in netting logic surrounding gross inventory and net inventory (CM inventory/hub inventory multiple) 3) EC management experience in dealing with SMT assemblies (remove/add) 4) Can manage Contract Manufactures build and material teams 5) Have the ability to interact with account teams in multiple time zones and speak fluent English a secondary language 6) Has the understanding and experience in managing procurement in shortages and sourcing strategies 7) Have experience in inventory analysis in dealing with obsolete/surplus/inactive inventory 8) Has experience in dealing with RMA/re-work material

 

Education& Qualifications: BS/AS in electrical discipline.  APICS certification or strong materials management background recommended. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PC based software suites including MS Windows, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.  Experience with MRP systems such as SAP strongly recommended.  Proficient in written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.

 

Experience:

2+ years experience in Contract Manufacturing industry is preferred
