职位描述
Primary Role
?Provide different levels of reference designs (paper design, custom design or platform/solution) as per customer needs and based on customer's technical capability.
?Provide systems solutions and methodologies for GPRC.
?Promote new products based on SPF revenue number and provide product training for distributors' FAEs, PMs and sales.
?Conduct competitive product analysis from the products performance perspective. Use to provide promotional tools for sales and propose New Solution Requests (NSR) to product lines.
Monitor
?Industry trends and market forces (i.e. government regulations) that will impact customer's design strategy.
Support
?Technical road shows and seminars, including the preparation of market/price information, competitive product analysis and getting the data of end-customer spec and customer solutions.
?Quality/ application issue resolution, identifying the root cause and working with sales/CQE to resolve.
?Customers and prospects during promotional, design-in and development phases, providing technical support.
?Press release, trade journal article and application note preparation by providing technical detail.
?Evaluation board and customer related board design.
Work with
?PL engineering teams to ensure that products meet application requirements.
?Sales teams in key customer accounts to identify technical trends as well as current and future product requirements to drive business development opportunities.
Qualification
?Bachelors degree or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
?4-5 telecom power R&D years after Bachelors or 2-3 telecom power R&D years after Masters or at least 7 years design experience in applications to be supported in assigned role.
?At least 5-years H/W designer experience, especially on customer side, a plus.
?For uP/MCCC FAE, needs to have appropriate experience, e.g., telecom power supply,, etc.
?Conversant in all major power supply topologies or dominant applications and power topologies of assigned customers and/or markets.
?Good command of local language and confident in English writing, presentation and communication skills.
