About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

  * As senior system administration engineer within UOC China SIS (Shared infrastructure Service) team, implementations internal project for server and storage full life-cycle setup, includes technical design preparation, purchasing, new setup & hardening implementation & configuration, as well as vendor management, documentation, handover and etc.
  * As senior system administration engineer within UOC China SIS team, takes the role & responsibility for servers (Windows, Unix, AIX, Linux, Oracle OS mainly) daily administration and operation works as well as working with Group team, which includes but not limited to:

？ ？ ？ ？ ？ ？1. production, UAT, DR servers and storage devices maintenance and troubleshooting;
？ ？ ？ ？ ？ ？2. servers and storage change and upgrade according to instruction;
？ ？ ？ ？ ？ ？3. servers and storage capacity planning and management;
？ ？ ？ ？ ？ ？4. servers and storage KPI analysis and reporting.
  * Working for storage devices daily operation independently.
  * Other works assigned.


Job Requirements

  * Education: Bachelor Degree or above in Information Technology or Computer Science relevant.
  * Yrs of relevant experience: Above 10 years in working experience for server administration and operation in a medium or large sized enterprise environment independently.
  * Rich project management knowledge and working experience for project implement on server & storage new built-up and full life-cycle management.
  * Rich working experience on storage device/service project delivery and operation.
  * Strong operational processing concept on change management, incident management and capacity management.
  * Strong operational processing concept on QA and IS management.
  * Specific knowledge & skills:

？ ？ ？ ？ ？ ？1. Knowledge: Knowledge and working experience on varies database and middleware project delivery and operation, e.g. Oracle, SQL, MQ, is better
？ ？ ？ ？ ？ ？2. Language: Good oral and written skills in both English and Mandarin
？ ？ ？ ？ ？ ？3. Computer: Proficient in Microsoft Office
？ ？ ？ ？ ？ ？4. Other skills: 1, Capability and willing to learn new knowledge; 2, Hardworking, good in communication and teamwork; 3, available for OT
  * Qualification: have server administration related certificate and PMP certificate is better.
