Copal Institute

Copal Institute, the training arm of Copal Partners, offers "Certificate in Financial Research", a two-week full-time English training course, designed specially to bridge the gap between academics and the real financial world. The curriculum has been developed in consultation with industry veterans and senior management of Copal Partners.

Students will be provided with interviews (internship & full-time job) opportunities post course with various divisions within Copal Partners. Candidates hired by the company would receive a full fee reimbursement after completing one year with Copal.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Translate, edit and proofread assigned documents from English to Chinese and Chinese to English
- Prepare presentations including company profiles, newsletters, thematic studies, etc
- Team management including quality and efficiency control
- Company research, industry research, financial research and analysis, operational and financial due diligence, preparation of investment proposals and reports, assisting in documenting and closing transactions


Required Qualifications

- Ideally graduated from a reputable University with Finance/Accounting/Economics background
- 5+ years of solid experience in professional translation, with familiarity with financial terms (Experience working with investment banking or financial markets materials preferred)
- Complete fluency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal)
- Solid writing skills (both in English and Chinese)
- Bachelor degree in English, finance, or accounting preferred
- Passed CET 6 for non-English Major or TEM 8 for English Major
- High level of attention to detail and regard for accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ambitious and team player


Location: Beijing

Duration: Permanent

Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience
