Mission Statement
To drive the regional sales team and practice the best sales activities in the region to increase hit rate for sales, and maximize customer value and ambitious growth.
Lead to sustainable profitable growth on Portable Air business, triple the sales in 3 years.
General Function:
- Responsibility for P&L and Balance Sheet for the region.
- Responsibility for sales operations, key account management, network development and dealer management in the region.
- To achieve results of objectives agreed with business line manager and General Manager.
- To develop the capital equipment business within specific segment, with the objective of giving all products their best chances in the market.
- Develop sales organization in the region, safeguard integrity and transparency of operations within the region and the team by being a strong and loyal team player.
- Follow the company policies stated in The Way We Do Things, including the Business Code of Practice and Compliance issues.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operational Sales Management
Make annual and quarterly sales plan in the concerned area according to Product line’s\Division’s strategy.
Base on the regional market share target, make yearly/quarterly/monthly sales target and MS% increasing target for each salesman.
Ensure to reach the regional market share target and sales target.
List the regional key account and responsible for regular visiting.
Guide salesman to finish planned customer activities.
Take lead and guide salesman to finish each bid.
Has good knowledge and skills on negotiation, international trading agreement, basic finance and laws, etc.
Examine and approve each contract in accordance with Prokura and price discount policy.
Use CRM system to manage all the activities and information about sales (leads, opportunities, quotes, and customer information).
Submit monthly report of the concerned area no later than the last working day of that month, coach and check subordinates’ monthly reports.
2. Key Points of Business Development
Key Account Management skills \ knowledges and awareness.
Identify the opportunities from potential KAs and settle the key activities of sales.
Regular base to visit Top priority KAs and discover and create more leads.
Regular base to have meeting with decision makers of KAs together with service team and PT management team to increase customer share and customer satisfaction.
Network development and management skills \ knowledges and awareness.
Very strong willing to increase Market Share via better territory management.
Seek distributor\reseller who meet the demand of business development in the region
Regular base to visit and meet the driver of distributors, make sure Atlas Copco PT business and targets have been focused and followed by them fully and closely.
Understand P&L, and manage the cost down in line with business development.
Examine/control the selling price, implement the pricing policy
Control all costs down (travel/entertainment/service/inventory/collection, etc.)
Achieve the target of profitability and working capital
3. Co-ordination any other department in the company
Liaise with the marketing and support team and any other department in the company, to get support when necessary and taking corrective actions immediately as required.
Managing regional sales team work closely with the service team to lead the growth of total sales
Drive regional sales team using right process to give feedback of products quality and customer satisfaction issues to product companies tighter with back office team and service team.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
SHEQ, People management
Operational response for safety, health and environmental performance as well as the implementation of the “Safety first” and SHEQ Policy.
To develop strong support to “People Care”, i.e. training and competence development of personnel, including yearly appraisals and follow-up.
Good coaching and motivation skill and knowledge.
Attract and retain skillful and professional people.
Enhance team working and team spirit to establish a high-efficiency and capable sales team
JOB Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
1. Major in Mechanics, electric, etc., bachelor degree or above.
2. More than 5 years sales and management experiences at Air (Portable compressors, boosters, etc.).
3. More than 5 years experiences within relative industries as
a) Infrastructure Construction
b) Oil and Gas
c) Long Hole Drilling (water well, geothermal well, etc.)
d) Surface mining, quarries, ground preparation, etc.
e) Piling and foundation drilling, and rentals, etc.
f) Utilities and rescues.
g) Others manufactures and OROB strategy linked industries will be plus.
Language Ability: (English & Mandarin)
Basic English in both spoken and written
Training & Skill Development:
Excellent in Microsoft software
