Position: : Business Intelligence
Division/Department: Purchasing / Purchasing holistic new technology
Location: Beijing
Main goals and objectives:
This function ensures the monitoring of key industry & competitor developments within the whole battery supply chain in Region Asia. It will analyze specific companies based on strategic interests in collaboration, also including raw material suppliers needed to successfully implement the VW Group electrification strategy.
Your Responsibilities:
Monitors key battery supplier developments in Region Asia and analyzes companies based on a strategic interest in collaboration
Analyzes the battery supply chain in regards to raw material and processing markets and companies
Consolidates existing information (e.g. regarding technical, sales & marketing, financial information) and acquires additional data if needed
Aligns with internal parties and coordinates with external resources and partners
Identifies key strategic and competitive insights, develops measures and prepares management briefings
Our Requirements:
College/university degree, preferably in the field of business administration or similar
Strong self-motivation, assertiveness, analytical skills, problem solving, prioritizing ability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Target-oriented work style, high willingness to learn and to take over responsibility
Mobility / Flexibility (100% willingness to travel)
At least 3 years of work experience in automotive or consulting industry preferred
- Language skills: fluent English, Chinese native speaker, German is a plus
