PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Sales Manager is responsible for delivering the annual sales target and other qualitative objectives to selected accounts: This is achieved via:
· Effective management of the company relationship with major customers and prospects
· Retention and development of the company's existing business
· Generation of New Business in existing customers and new prospects
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Management
· Revenue Achievement
· Resource Management
· Relationship Management
New Business Development
· Identify new prospects in line with the company strategy
· Identify key contact persons for industrial related business
· Qualify and progress new opportunities
Administration
· Forecasting
· Reporting
· AR collection
· Presentation
Experience Required
· Minimum 5 years field experience in a high-tech sales environment
· An appreciation of solution sales and project management environments
· Experience of negotiating at senior level
· Knowledge of business sectors such as telecommunications, e-commerce and banking
Education / professional qualifications required
· Graduate calibre (all disciplines eligible however Business or Technical related is preferential)
· Competent with IT Systems, particularly Microsoft Office
Skills/aptitude
· Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills
· Negotiation skills
· A professional, positive self-starter
· Commercial awareness and business acumen
· Ability to work under pressure, quick thinker
· Good interpersonal skills, ability to effectively manage others to complete tasks
· Self motivated and a high level of tenacity
· Strong analytical skills
· Good presence / charisma and high level of confidence
· High level of written and spoken English
