Principal Engineer-Search Measuement Platform

Job overview:

 As our Principal SDE for Search Measurement Platform team, you have the opportunity to work with world-class Search Engineers and Data Scientists who have been worked for Google, Amazon, Pinterest, etc. You will be the technical leader to design and implement measurement infrastructure and services to facilitate search QA and optimization. Your work will be critical for us to provide customer a friction-less search engine and help customer to find useful products.

 Responsibilities: 

• Tech lead for agile team throughout the software development lifecycle. Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards.
• Understand the pain points from search engineers. Lead and drive projects with collaboration with product owners and different agile/rating teams.
• Design and build tools to support engineers for engineering effectiveness.
• Design and implement measurement metrics with collaboration with QA team to monitor search quality and automatically detect quality issues.

 Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Proficient in Javascript/HTML5/CSS3. Familiar with page architecture and layout, familiar with JQuery, etc
• Familiar with at least one of the current popular front-end frameworks, like React, Vue etc.
• Familiar with front-end testing frameworks, such as Jasmine, Jest, Mocha, etc
• Familiar with front-end engineering tools: Webpack, Gulp, Babel, etc
• Familiar with various front-end tools (Firebug, Fiddler, Postman, Web developer tools, etc
• Experience on Java/python

• Experiences in UX
