ELT Sales Manager (English Language Teaching)
To provide effective management of business development, sales and marketing to meet company's strategic development and financial targets. To build high-performing teams and support team members to become good/excellent performers.
1. Responsibility
Business planning and implementation of China school business development strategies and plans
a) Develop and implement a strategic business plan that reflects current needs in the target market, and articulates well with the overall strategic plan and our vision to help people and institutions to succeed;
b) Research new potential customers or partnerships to ensure sustainable income;
c) Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential strategic business partners or alliances that advance the strategic plan.
d) Research market needs and recommend to China management a portfolio of services and products as needed. Together with China management to coordinate with global school team on development of local services and products as needed.
e) Build and maintain market information system on new regulation changes, new customer needs, competition;
f) Provide monthly market report to Sales Director;
2. Responsibility
Business Development and Negotiation
a) Analyze market opportunities, identify key target customers, and build database of contacts. Establish relationships with potential customers, initiating contacts and/or following up on leads provided by other staff members (managers, sales reps, etc.).
b) Define specific client needs and propose plan to meet needs. (objective, target population, budget, specific products and services, delivery time line.)
c) Draft initial P&L and agree proposal offer with General Manager that meets strategic, financial and academic goals.
d) Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients.
