Department: Service Job Title: Spare Parts Manager



This job Description identifies the major responsibilities of this position. It does not include all aspects of this position such as potential additional duties assigned by supervisors and the requirements for flexibility in helping others for the company overall benefit.




JOB FUNCTIONS


- Actively negotiating with German Spare part Center and customers regarding the conditions of spare part service, warranties & regrets

- Follow Up of Spare parts Orders and Delivery Times

- Integrate the Spare part Team into the whole Service Process for quicker response times

- Structure, organize and lead the Spare part Team with clear job responsibilities

- Implement an actual Spare part Inventory management system

- Monitor and report monthly Spare part availability, market need, installed Spare parts in the market, margins, profits and other key indicators

- Promote actively spare parts to the customer

- Increase spare parts business volume and margin

- Proper in-time management for spare return and receivables together with Finance Department

- Identification of spare part needs (technical clearance) with assistance of the existing BaaN System and different product lists

- Able to analyze spare-part mal-functions/defects and possible causes







EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE







KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
· Economic optimization of spare parts business volumes

· Familiar with leading a team

· Minimum 2 years of Management/Business Experience

· Minimum of 5 years work experience in the machine tool industry and in cooperation with a global acting company, combined with a good technical understanding of CNC turning and milling machines, BaaN knowledge advantageous

· Organizational and negotiating skill and problem solving capability

· Able to make independent decisions

· Take responsibility for the team and their actions

· Independent "can do" attitude as well as loyalty

· Very good English knowledge, German knowledge big advantage

· Capable to join an international environment
