The Project Manager executes the implementation of the strategic programs and projects for the Lubricants Within China. The role is accountable for management of cross-functional project resources, directly or indirectly ensuring project planning, risk management, delivery, change management, and value realisation. The role is also responsible for ensuring optimum resource allocation in line with the Lubes and China prioritisation.

1. Manage China project activities; plan, implement, assess risk & mitigation, manage change and deliver assurance by working cross-functionally with senior business and functional leaders to ensure resource management, integration with the Global's and China's business processes, prioritization and delivery.
2. Ensure resources are properly allocated and deployed to support transformation projects and business programs.
3. Employ World Class Project Management skills and champion continuous improvement.
4. Work closely with Lubricants PMO and central project teams to maximise the output quality of the projects by ensuring standard and consistent approach.
5. Lead and coach direct or indirect project resources, supporting their capability development and ensuring a strong project management talent pipeline.
6. Develop and implement a systematic approach through the embedding of relevant OMS elements and ensuring appropriate risk reviews are undertaken appropriately.


* University degree
* Certified Project Management Professional preferred


* Minimum 10 years' working experience
* Project management experience
* Track record of successfully working across a range of cultures with strong evidence of delivering transformation projects resulting in material business changes.
* Proven track record of project delivery against challenging deadlines and within budget
* Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders
* Proven ability to lead and motivate virtual teams beyond own level and area of expertise
