Position: Legal Counsel

Division / Department: CEO / Legal

Your Responsibilities:

As a member of the Legal Department of Volkswagen Group China in Beijing, the Legal Counsel position is responsible for:

• Advising the Company in legal commercial matters;

• Advising the Company in data protection law matters;

• Advising the Company in technical regulatory matters;

• Drafting and reviewing complex multi-party contracts and legal documents;

• Providing timely legal guidance to internal business units and other Volkswagen entities regarding potential legal issues, particularly regarding data protection and regulatory matters law.

Our Requirements:

• Master in law, with at least 1 year study overseas
• 5 years of professional experience in a leading law firm or a multinational company
• International law familiarity preferred
• Excellent English and native Mandarin language skills, both oral and written
• Mature and confident, with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong team-player
• Ability to work independently, under pressure with commitment to tasks
