Department Overview:
Enterprise Security Group (ESG) is at the core of Symantec's security strategy for the Enterprise. Secure Enterprise is Managed Enterprise! This team makes it happen by developing management products, components, and services for rapid delivery of integrated solutions in order to offer better protection, reduce the cost of security management, and react to customers' changing needs.
Responsibilities:
? As a Sr technical member, you should be able to play the technical leadership role in software development life cycle.
? You should be able to work closely with cross-geo / cross-function team on product delivery.
? You will be engaged in the cutting-edge security technology integration based on product roadmap.
? Work with minimal supervision on analyze, debug and troubleshoot product issues.
? Work independently on committed task
? Be responsible for tuning the performance.
? Be responsible for UT test and integration test.
? Coordinate with teammate to do code review
? Work with QA team to review the test strategy and test plan.
? Work with QA team to solved defects and customer cases.
Qualifications:
? At least 5 years (MS) and 8 years (BS) overall experience in commercial software industry.
? Strong Android and Java knowledge is a must
? Experience on security industry is a must
? Experience on Enterprise level Software Development is a must.
? Solid experience in software design, development, troubleshooting and code review is a must.
? Solid knowledge C++ and Linux kernel is a plus.
? Good communication and English skills.
? Good team player is a must.
? Experience on Agile/scrum is a plus.
