Title: Market Development Manager
Location: Shanghai
Department: Greater China

Purpose and Summary of position: (5-8 major activities)
Purpose
Propose strategy to Marketing Team Leader in order to develop the company's share on the respective market
Summary
? Understand market trend and competition dynamics to develop marketing plan to maximize growth in China by developing differentiated value propositions for different market and customer segments.
? Find new business opportunity in the market, initiate, lead and launch new programs to meet the market requirements by leveraging global resource.
? Work closely with R&D, product manager in order to provide the input of the market on new technical development.
? Provide guide lines, success story and customers target list to the sales team.
? Participate in seminars, conference and give lectures in order to update the knowledge on business trends and to promote the company's image within the targeted market Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
? Working experience at International chemical company is preferred
? Strong communication and presentation skills
? Analytical thinking; understanding of value creation

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: (Include 5- 8 Major Activities)
? Strong experience of building strategic marketing plans that contribute to business strategy development and implementation
? Passionate to develop value added activities based on bringing solutions to the market through teamwork
? Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese
? Energetic self-starters who are independent and results-oriented leaders.
? Willing and be prepared to travel extensively.
? Needs to have a proactive attitude towards work. Face challenges, provide solutions and get the job done
? BA degree in science or engineering, ideally major in Chemical Competencies Required for Success (check the competencies that need to be strengths for success in this position)
