Duties and
Responsibilities :

Reporting and Ledger

Accurate financial reporting of periodic group package, yearly group package, external statutory reports in line with group policy and GAAP, to meet deadline is a must

External audit liaison and coordination

Responsible for annual inspection of government authorities and ensure pass before deadlines

Maintenance and management of financial software

Necessary knowledge of company ERP to ensure the consistency, completeness and accuracy of data interface between ERP and financial software

Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliation, and reconciliation of
significant items of profit and loss account before monthly closing

To interpret various and changing group accounting policy to the team, PRC GAAP and initiate adjustments to manage the changes

To ensure proper treatments for inter and intra company transactions, be responsible for intercompany reconciliations

To set up accounting procedures in a timely manner for new business activities

General Controlling and Finance Support

To provide value-added finance/tax support and counsel on complex transactions, funding, new business activities

To make recommendations for changes in controls and procedures to improve efficiency of finance related process,protect of company assets and correct problems identified

To ensure internal and external customer needs/expectations are met

Proactive collaboration with business controller for budget preparation, budget control

Validation on company disbursements to ensure compliance of company policies and legitimacy of the spending

To always keep a close eye on late invoicing and collection of billings to meet group DSO request

Cash Management

Responsible for timely submission of weekly Working Cash Report, monthly rolling cash forecast of following 3 months

To ensure adequate working capital for business activities and make risk-free investments on cash surplus

To develop and maintain close relationships with banks

Tax Management

Monitor of accurate and timely tax filing according to local and state tax regulations monthly, quarterly and yearly

Responsible for company income tax allocation among different branches

To develop and maintain close relationships with tax bureaus and relevant government authorities to ensure proper tax filing and knowledge share with the team

Assistance to Finance Director for strategic tax planning of legal entities and business units

People Management and Development

Proper job assignment to team members with adequate supervision and qualitative support

Participation with enthusiasm in accomplishment of continuous improvement of objectives for the finance department with necessary periodic measurements and practical analysis models of associated data

To ensure the team is staffed with qualified, well trained, and motivated personnel by encouraging and counseling continued self development in areas that will enhance quality of performance

Organization of team based learning and sharing of professional knowledge, skills of tools, experiences of problem shooting for people development and to foster continuous improvement in finance services of the team

To assist in maintaining a working environment conductive to collaboration across job functions and various business functions

Other Assignments

To ensure timely accomplishment of other assignments by the company in a positive manner

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree or above in Accounting and Finance, CPA preferable

Above 10 years experiences in finance area of FIE

Above 3 years experiences in team management (>2 people at least)

Good master of MS office such as excel, powerpoint and one or two finance software

Openness to change, strong leadership and teamwork spirit, good inter-personal and diplomacy skills, highly self-motivated, well organized and positive working attitude of problem solving

Ability to work independently and under high pressure

Demonstrated knowledge in PRC GAAP, IFRS, PRC taxation

Above average English for both written and oral, proficiency in Mandarin
