Job Description: 

Maxim is seeking an Applications Engineer to support signal chain integrated circuits through the full product life-cycle.  Products include operational amplifiers, comparators, current sense amplifiers, voltage references, voltage supervisor as well as TIAs used in various applications: consumer, industrial, medical, and communications. 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

Build evaluation boards and bench automation test setup 

Conduct road-tests, performance optimization and characterization 

Work closely with product definers, design, business management and customers throughout the product evaluation and optimization Provide technical support to key customers and field engineers 

Write application notes, user guides, articles, design ideas, datasheet manuscripts for internal/external publication 

Research competitive solutions and devise better ones.   

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree plus 8+ years of experience in signal chain applications with consistent track record of results.

Experience with precision analog circuits and ADCs. 

Experience and detailed knowledge of circuit stability, noise performance and layout technics in precision analog designs.

Strong written and        verbal communication skills.
