Responsibility :
1) Execute the industrialization aspects (in order to introduce project into the factory) as an Industrialization Project Lead of the projects assigned to you.
- Control technical aspects (HW Engineering Specification, Specification and validation of accessories, relationship with SW, Mechanical, Prototype and Engineering teams) and drive the ODM partner;
- Provide expertise support during development in terms of DFM and DFT to the design community;
- Own and manage the BOM of the project.
- Management (technical, quality, schedule) of external ODM and CEM partners who are owner of the design and performing volume manufacturing;
- Provide on-site support during Factory Trial Run (if necessary and requested, support to Pilot and Ramp-up);
- Keep close contact with the project manager of the projects; report status and issues on a regular and clear base. Take initiative.
2) Contribute to the continuous improvement of your team's capabilities by
- ACTIVELY contributing to improving processes and procedures for the engineering activities.
Profile:
1) General
- Good oral and written English skills.
2) Specific
- Excellent communication and motivation skills.
- 5 years of experience related with product manufacturing, including taking products from R&D to mass production stage.
- Experience with set-top boxes is a very strong plus.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Strong process focus and 'eye for details' are a must.
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) required, with Master degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in a large multi-national company is a strong plus
- Willing to travel on a regular base (factory area)
