Our quality team is global with locations in the US, In! dia, Brazil, Argentina and China.

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for FIN/SCM Enterprise/PeopleSoft Development team.
- Position is at CHINA location only
- Prior exposure or experience with PEOPLESOFT product background and QA is preferred.

= = = Additional details
As a senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in the testing of complex, multi-tiered distributed enterprise software applications. You will collaborate with other QA Engineers, Project Managers, Software Develope! rs, Database Administrators (DBAs), and Operations staff to:
- Analyze product features, create test plans, and identify deliverables.
- Participate in functional design overviews and assist with code unit testing.
- Prepare and facilitate automated tests.
- Perform defect reporting and tracking through to issue resolution.
- Execute testing tasks and report status, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements.
- Identify project risks and recommend actions.
- Work closely with Customer Support and Development staff to help deliver code and bundle resolutions.
- Act as QA product lead for one or more product module
- Mentor junior team members
- Perform project management duties to monitor timeline and team member assignment progress, alert management of any risk area

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's or above degree in related field or equivalent relevant experience such as Computer Science, Business/Accounting, Mathematics, ...
- 7+ years experience in functional testing or hands-on user experience of Financial or Supply Chain business management system

Competency:
- Proven ability to work both as an individual and in groups in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment with rapid development life cycles.
- Self directed and highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Aptitude to learn new concepts and technologies quickly and with minimal direction
- Solid analytical skills and detail-oriented
- Strong leadership skills to drive various QA projects as needed
- Adequate facilitation and organization skills to work in a global team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Functional:
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financial/Supply Chain management products strongly favored.
- Solid understanding of business management processes as an analyst or end user
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting business functional requirements in order to design and execute comprehensive test scenarios.
- Experience in influencing functional designs to improve quality, system performance and usability

QA:
- Experience in QA Tools used to manage test plans
- Knowledge of QA testing techniques to determine project scope
- Knowledge of applying risk-based testing methodology in a QA environment
- Experience in working as a team member on large, complex QA projects
- Experience in developing training framework to mentor junior team members

Technical:
- Basic Windows or UNIX system administration skills.
- Experience in working as a data analyst - MS SQL Server, Oracle and MS Access query skills
- Experience in working with automation tools for end to end testing is strongly regarded.

Familiarity with several of the following technologies and tools is a plus;
- IBM WebSphere or other J2EE application servers.
- Scripting languages (e.g. VBScript, JavaScript).
- Mercury Test Director, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- QA automation tools (PS Script, Silk, QuickTestPro, WinRunner, LoadRunner)
- Relational databases (Oracle) and XML.
