AMD shader compiler team and PAL(Platform Abstraction Layer) team deliver well-optimized shader compiler and shared platform component for AMD APU/GPU products to maximize the value of AMD GFX IPs. Ensuring the component quality and performance of SC (shader compiler) and PAL is the key for AMD to win in graphics arena.

    

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Collaborate with SC/PAL development team to understand the requirements of SC/PAL CQE
•  Develop comprehensive test plan to improve test coverage as possible
•  Build test automation to maximize productivity and efficiency
•  Execute test plan to ensure both the quality and performance of Shader Compiler and PAL
•  Assist SC/PAL developers to identify regressions and spot specific offending changes
• Execute required test plan on customer’s platform and report status
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of currently deployed processes and drive / implement process improvement for efficiency and quality
• Plan and conduct test centric Post Mortem evaluation/review

                                    

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Deep understanding on software testing process flow
• Capability on executing both manual and automatic software component testing
• Good oral and written communication skills in both mandarin and English
• Possess a good team work spirit to contribute and engage
