职位描述

A global leading company in making Cochlear (Advanced medical device product), currently this is a 6 month contractor job.

Accountability 1: Financial Accounting and Controls
? Produce timely and accurate financial statements for entities within region
? Responsible for completeness and accuracy of account records
? Develop and maintain effective controls and procedures to ensure best practice
? Ensure timely completion of GL reconciliations, detailed review of reconciling items and prompt clearance

Accountability 2: Management Reporting and Analysis
? Responsible for producing management information for stakeholders and internal customers in the form of Management P&L's, Analysis Packs and Commentary in line with the reporting calendar
? Act as business partner by sharing financial information with business heads and collaborating to aid business decision making
? Provide financial analysis and consulting to stakeholders to create better visibility on financial performance of the business

Accountability 3: Process Improvement and Compliance
? Cash forecasting from countries and consolidation
? Provide cashflows to ensure working capital availability
? Financial process improvement and process improvements through Oracle and Business Processes
? Greater China tax and audit compliance
? Assist with ensuring financial control is effective and development and amendment of policies and procedures

Key Incumbent requirements

Minimum
Qualifications, background experience, knowledge, organizational knowledge, knowledge of other business activities, skills etc
? Professionally qualified Accountant (CA/CPA)
? 8+ years relevant experience in accounting and finance
? Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge and skills
? Strong communication capability with the ability to explain financial language to business managers

Ideal
? Multi-national company with focus on Asia Pacific
? Hands on experience with big ERP systems in particular Oracle and Hyperion

Region-specific Requirements
? Execute the day to day accounting entries into the Oracle financial system within a small team - it will include AP, AR and GL
? Implement and maintain internal controls for OTC, P2P, General Accounting and Supply Chain processes
? Coordinate efforts with the regional finance team to ensure that journal data entries are made accurately and on time for monthly, quarterly and annual reports
? Execute monthly close processes and assist in preparation of financial reports
? Analysis of monthly reports and producing calculations and commentary on financial performance for the business
? Completion of general ledger recs and monthly review meetings with the finance team locally
? Ensure activities comply with legal, professional and ethical standards and are audit and tax compliant
? Assist in preparation of schedules for internal and external audits
? Assist in preparation of process documents for the finance function
? Prepare cash flows
? Support ongoing projects
