职位描述

1. Brief Description


This position helps to ensure regional needs for integrity/reliability in internal system and information are fulfilled and mirrored with relevant operational processes. Key requirements include familiarity with internal operating systems; including operations, financial, messaging systems and including key customers’ systems.


Secondary role includes to ensure the operation KPIs’ integrity and its relevancy.


2. Key Result Areas


1) Identifies KPIs for new systems enhancement/rollout;

2) Ensures successful new systems enhancement/rollout;

3) Rollout regional systems’ training plan to ensure regional systems’ skill-sets is relevant and dated with each new enhancements;

4) Implement self-thought/new initiatives (excluding of what is already in the pipeline by IT/global SI) to reduce manual workarounds and other systems enhancement in order to improve productivity and reduction in duplicate work;

5) Ensure integrity of reporting systems and provides assistance to management for information mining and reporting;

6) Puts in place a program to ensure that this leading role is replicated in each origin and also a backup in the regional SI office ready for succession;


3. Key Accountabilities/Duties


1) Holds the leadership role to ensure integrity of information obtained from financial, IT & enterprise operating system to the operations;

2) Leads & represents regional interests in new systems’ enhancements and ensure that its relevant to the operations/customers;

3) Identify KPIs for successful enhancement/new systems rollout & measures/reports these KPIs to the stakeholders in a timely manner;

4) Owns regional reporting system to ensure data from systems are easily mined and reliably used by Management for reporting and simulations purposes;

5) Represents region in understanding customers’ systems and participates in any integration/facilitation projects as required;

6) Understand customer logistics procedures in relation to the operations, information services, and documentation, and customer service processes supported by APLL and related service providers.

7) Work with regional finance to review and implement billing processes, system and controls for all lines of business

8) Work closely with IFS team to implement and enhance origins’ operation processes as well as with system design efforts.

9) Lead customer or internal logistics projects and develop procedures in relation to the operations, information services, documentation, and customer service processes

10) Ensure effective & efficient adoption and adaptation of information technology as an enabler in APLL operating processes

11) Ensure effective, efficient and timely meeting and delivery of customer commitments by APLL offices and related service providers.

12) Coordinate implementation of customer service programs and service integrity initiatives in Great China and other APLL offices.

13) Coordinate implementation of any new operational processes for the region to ensure continued efficient, effective & timely service to customers

14) Formulate and implement actions to improve the stability and capability in the Region's operations processes.

15) Coordinate with APLL offices to establish comprehensive monitoring and measurement of APLL operations processes with focus on key performance indicators (KPIs).


4. Incumbent specification


1) Degree education in Logistics, IT, Engineering.

2) 5 years working experience with a logistics service provider environment, with track record in implementing projects for customers

3) Knowledge and experience in logistics management, warehousing and distribution and other supply chain-related services

4) Knowledge in supply chain related systems; ERP, WMS, TMS, Planning systems etc.

5) Skilled in RDBMS, Microsoft applications & reporting tools;

6) Experience in leading customer logistics projects and developing procedures in relation to the operations, information services, documentation, and customer service processes

7) Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including skills in spoken and written communications

8) Customer oriented with ability to build relationships and interact effectively at various levels

9) Experience in leading quality and productivity improvement programmes is preferred

10) Ability to effectively & efficiently adopt/adapt information technology and logistics solutions as an enabler in operations processes is a plus

11) People Person, and believing in Change Management concept
