Responsibilities:
Recognized senior practitioner in the automotive industry, with 8-10 years combined experience in management consulting and industry in the automotive industry. The candidate should have experience in developing accounts, selling projects, managing multiple client teams, and developing people. As a very senior position, This person will provide guidance and contribute to the overall direction for the Automotive Practice ; and is aspired to become a full partner of the company within the next 1-3 years
The area of focus will be in product development, which include but not limited to market analysis, customer analysis, product planning, product development process and methodology, design for X, supply chain management and manufacturing operations.
Leads independently pursuits of new business and manage account and client relationships. They directly supervise S Managers, Managers, and S Associates on client engagements and lead marketing and new business development, thought leadership, and firm management activities.
Provides day-to-day leadership of client projects, working with the client team responsible for the success of a specific engagement(s) and the delivery of project results. Lead and manage complex programs across multiple sites and organizations to ensure on-time delivery that meets the agreed-upon goals and that stays within budget. Leverages best practice frameworks, their own industry expertise, and technical competence to drive the overall design and implementation of customized best practice solutions. ADs manage ongoing client relationships as the primary point of contact with the client on project issues.

Typical client responsibilities include:
Manages a full portfolio of clients and projects and uses a wide knowledge and skill base to carry out a variety of project types.
Manages engagements or projects with strict cost control and delivers expected revenue objectives.
Maintains expected utilisation level for self and staff members as appropriate.
Manages engagement and project billings and collections.
Advises client senior manager teams.
Develops sustainability in the market place through specific practice focus.
Reviews key client deliverables to ensure they meet all professional requirements.
Recruits new team members and conducts performance management for current team members.
Firm and NBD responsibilities include:
Takes a lead to enter and penetrate key accounts
Can manage and lead the Lead, Mature, Propose and Close stages of sales
Can accept and deliver on a target of $250K fees in each six months (likely means that they have been involved in over $1M/year)


Requirements:
8~10 years of industry experience with minimum of 3 years consulting experience and 3 years of managing projects and people
Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution, preferred in Engineering,
Science and management
MBA preferred
