Job Description & Responsibilities

1. Practice Building

· Participate in practice building activities (e.g. conference participation, thought leadership development, market offering development, recruiting).

· Identify and begin developing expertise in specific practice specialty areas to drive firm recognized expertise development.

· Provide coaching and mentoring to analysts and consultants.

2. Client Relationship Development and Management

· Manage key client stakeholder relationships and communications at all stages of the project. Facilitate complex meetings,presentations and workshops to build client commitment for the change.

· Cultivate follow-on opportunities at clients and develop compelling business case/proposals to new business opportunities.

3. Project Delivery and execution

· Identify and prioritize client value creation opportunities based on research and analysis activities and an understanding of client visions, performance gaps, and needs.

· Shape and lead the business solution implementation: defining and supervising business architecture, process design and development activities, developing capabilities and performance measurements/KPIs.

· Develop implementation plans and lead teams to execute project deliverables to schedule, budget and performance goals. Manage project financials. Assess and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle and make adjustments as needed. Ensure planned business outcomes are achieved.

· Direct business pilots and client deployment activities.

Design the projects overall communication strategy and approach to the desired change journey.

Requirements

· A bachelor degree or above in pharmaceutical, life sciences and medicine, MBA background would be a plus

· Minimum ten years' working experiences, of which 8 years with MNC pharmaceutical/ medical device companies in the commercial and/or operations and/or compliance function (e.g. sales and marketing, channel management, supply chain, internal audit) and in a management role

· Three to five years' consulting experiences (either an internal consultant or an external consultant)

· Experiences with corporate M&A projects or leadership experience with large business transformation projects (e.g. system implementation, post deal...etc)

· Possess basic understanding of regulatory requirements/regulatory trends in the pharmaceutical industry (Chinese healthcare reform, GMP, GSP...etc)

· Effective leadership and management skills with a proven ability to mobilize and energize project teams to deliver results

· Solid financial acumen, business analysis and diagnosis skills.

· Strong executive level relationship building skills.

· Ability to create and deliver high-impact communications to senior audiences (written and oral in both Chinese and English) and facilitate complex discussions.
