General Summary:

Responsibility for the evaluation, content development/revision, design, production, and delivery of training programs for clinical operations staff within China. Assists with the development of a comprehensive training strategy for both onboarding and maintenance activities for personnel. Leads the development of assessments and outcome measures for training activities and assesses these data over the course of time for the purpose of optimization.  

 

Accountabilities:

Applies understanding of China business functions, systems and processes to ensure training programs and/or organizational development projects meet intended goals

·     Maintains current knowledge of CRO industry practices and regulatory requirements

·     Communicates with stakeholders and target audience in business terms

·     Understands internal and external customers’ business needs and ensures expectations are met

·     Maintains current knowledge of industry practices and regulatory requirements

·     Ensures that work complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), instructional design and organizational development methodologies and learning best practices

Manages or may assume responsibility for the evaluation, content development/revision, design, production, and delivery of training programs

·     Ensures training projects are delivered on time and according to requirements and expectations

·     Coordinates and communicates training project activities

·     Creates training project status reports in a timely manner and alerts management of impediments to progress

·     Resolves obstacles to team progress, facilitating resolution of affected parties

·     Ensures that training programs have been fully developed and that sound evaluation methods are in place to ensure transfer of skills and improvement in business results

·     Ensures that workforce performance analysis projects apply a sound approach to ensure that the right solutions are presented and implemented

 

 

Qualifications

·     Bachelor's degree in science, health care, or related field; Master’s preferred

·     More than 4 years in a Global Pharma or CRO of clinical research

·     In-depth knowledge of ICH GCP, local regulations and guidelines

·     Relevant experience in clinical training or QA/QC is preferred

·     Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication, presentation and facilitation skills

·     Competent in written and oral English

·     Flexibility towards work assignments and new learning

·     Ability to take initiative and work independently

·     Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and clients

·     Ability to travel independently by air, car, and/or train.
