APJ VALUE ENGINEERING

Reporting and Global VE Alignment

· Work closely with Hub Value Engineering Leads and make sure that the VE activities align with what is reported in the CRM system

· Engage, Assist and support in the deployment of Global VE Programs in the region – such as VM 2.0, Benchmarking, CoE, Strategic Deals, etc.

· Assess complex system process/technology issues and recommend go-forward solutions and their relative feasibility/effort

· Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, and successfully articulate chosen solutions

· Generate Value Engineering related weekly reports

· Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external policies of sales and Value Engineering data usage and data quality

Customer Engagement and Solution Implementation

· Demonstrates creativity in understanding business issues, identifying and solving problems

· Engage with the region line of business, hubs/countries to gather information relative to customer engagements, sales requirements and customer needs. Consolidate and streamline requirements. Work with the region and country teams prioritize and deliver.

Training & Change Management

· Support the creation of appropriate training documentation for field enablement

· Support the creation and appropriate training documentation for customer Value Academies

Requirements:

· Academic background ideally in a mix of Business/Business Systems, Engineering and IT

· 5-8 years work exp in Sales, Marketing and/or Operations Systems and Processes with knowledge of Forecasting, Reporting, Opportunity Analysis and Management, Account Planning/Management with a global MNC

· Excellent communication skills and understanding of the business needs for sales processes and functionality. Able to define systems support needs and implement/deploy solutions using SAP functionality and/or office automation applications (e.g. Excel).

· Strong project management skills

· Strong customer focus and good customer management skills with receptive listening skills

· Passion regarding customer engagement and SAP’s goal of enabling our customers to be best run businesses. The role will have a strong internal focus initially, but will offer opportunities to engage and interact more with customers over time.

· Strong team player and excellent written and verbal communications, decision-making and presentation skills
