Position Summary
The JP Morgan bond agent Team, based in Shanghai, delivers a range of services to non-resident FI client globally. The bong agency team takes direct responsibility for the settlement & clearing with depositories in China inter-bank bond (CIBM) market, doing compliance monitoring base on regulatory requirement as well as regulatory reporting for CIBM clients to SAFE, PBOC etc.   Responsibilities

? Collect offshore investor related documentation from sales, do PBOC filing and open Cash & security account in CDC/SCH on behalf of offshore investor; ? Check offshore investor settlement instruction; ensure it is captured accuracy; ? Perform Security settlement via CDC/SCH system on behalf of offshore investor; ? Monitor bond event on behalf of offshore investor, conduct settlement for coupon payment/bond redemption to offshore investor; ? Provide bond settlement report and position report to offshore investor; ? Provide bond agency fee statement to offshore investor; ? Produce local regulatory reports and internal MIS reports ? Establish/update Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) which include control measures and ensure the SOPs are in strict compliance with internal policies as well as governing rules and regulations

 

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge: 
Knowledge and Experience Required:  ? At least 3 years bank/financial industry working experience in custodian team. ? Have strong product knowledge on China inter-bank bond market.  ? Be familiar with local regulation on cash payment, regulatory reporting ensure all the processing is in line with local regulation. ? Have experiences on cash processing, regulatory reporting is preferred. ? Fluent in speaking, reading & writing skills in both English & Chinese Mandarin
