Senior Manager, Advanced Analytic Consulting - (MTA)
CONTEXT/SCOPE(INCL. LOCATION)
- Advanced Analytic Consulting (AAC) is a fast paced and rewarding opportunity within Nielsen Greater China which has aggressive growth expectations and requires individuals that are quick to learn and demonstrate a strong personal drive, determination & energy, and team collaborative leadership.
- The role is based in Shanghai, China.
PURPOSE OF ROLE
- The role will be responsible for Nielsen Marketing Effectiveness NPD (ie. MTA, multi touch point modeling) new solutions product development and commercialization, and will also engage with business partners & clients to manage long-term cooperation business process.
- MTA is a powerful media solution Nielsen cooperated with JD and other platforms to evaluate and optimize digital/ecom media effectiveness. MTA key advantages:
- Measure ROI by multi touch attribution modeling, not last click
- Connect online shoppers watch and buy behavior
- Interactive Analytic Platform
- The role will contribute to further enhance and build cloud-based analytic product/platform and responsibility for driving new business opportunities.
KEY DIMENSIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Product development
- Responsible to develop enhanced MTA and other NPDs new features systematically
- Establish high standards of media and sales analysis for solution delivery
- Enhance product scope and business model with partners (ie. JD, Suning, Tencent, Alibaba etc), clients, and 3rd party agencies
Commercialization
- Seek for cooperation opportunities with new data partners
- Foster relationships with key contacts of clients
- Leadership & responsibility of expanding MTA scope of influence in market
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Qualifications
- Appropriate academic qualification – degree / diploma. Post graduate degree in Business Analytics related areas as an advantage.
- Highly developed and advanced product management and analytical skills
- Deep understanding of digital environment
- Strong communication skills, including daily interaction, presentation and effective writing
- Very strong problem-solver; can easily articulate, decompose and attack difficult problems
- Demonstrates result-oriented leadership in drive, courage, determination and energy
- Firm belief in team collaboration across own team and partners
- Skills in analytic tools like R, Python will be a big plus
Experience
- Ideally 5 years plus product management experience in digital marketing, analytics, or internet companies
- Rich experience working with and successfully developing strategic partner relationships & consultative skills.
- Strong record of successfully establishing new products
- Demonstrated success in a demanding & fast pace business environmen
