职位描述

This role is responsible for

The role will act as a gate-keeper of all the projects he/she is responsible for, comprising best-in-class research solution and execution across the different products of relevant departments in entire Nielsen,  managing client relationships by delivering value on every project, developing own client service team by delivering an appropriate coach to subordinates and building up leadership pipeline.

 

1. Project Management, Analytical and Presentation Skills:

l   Drive good project delivery as a gate-keeper via completed research solution, strict quality control, excellent analyzing and integration from different departments, e.g. qualitative, social media and quantitative, etc.

 

2. Account Management and Business Development:

l   New clients are important for revenue growth but existing clients give us more opportunity to move around, therefore, we should strive to develop strong relationship with these two kinds of clients through

n  Be responsible for existing clients to ensure the team delivers best service to grow our revenue from those clients ;

n  Drive new business development via the whole process of building contact, deep rounds of communication, delivering a simple and integrated proposal to show Nielsen Expertise in Financial Industry and address client issues in a straightforward way and winning the bidding.

 

3. Team Management:

l   Managing and growing own team is critical to business growth, so the manager should motivate the subordinates to perform better and more effectively.

l   Building up the leadership pipeline, helping subordinates to develop his/her own career goals will make them become long term employee of Nielsen and be critical to team growth.

1. Project Management, Analytical and Presentation Skills:

a)      Lead and plan every research project from building client contact to delivering recommendations that solve client business issues and fit client expectations.

2. Account Management and Business Development:

a)      Maintain key partnership accounts.

b)      Identify opportunities and potential clients and build relationships with these potential clients.

c)       Ensure maximum client satisfaction through high level of client service standards in line with client expectations

d)      Provide value-added product solutions and benefits to client business issues

e)      Help global team to initiate and introduce new products into China, i.e. CMS, in conjunction with the respective colleagues. Actively be involved in selling & marketing of the newly developed products / services.

3. Team Management:

a)      Assign job within the team, manage performance of team members, ensure work productivity and develop the team capability 

b)      Actively involved in training and coaching junior researchers

c)       Actively involved in organization development discussion and planning.

Key Skills/Competencies

§  Demonstrated an understanding of solid research knowledge.

§  Demonstrated ability to successfully build consumer insight and understanding into client business issues

§  Experience in serving different clients, MNC and Local clients.

§  Experience in managing a sub-team with 1-2 subordinates.

 

Qualifications
