Responsibilities:

• Build and lead application engineering team to secure NXP Automotive Mircrocontroller & processor business goal in China.
• As integral part of the NXP global automotive application organization, establish technological superiority in China.
• Lead the China AAS application engineering team, work with leading CAR OEM and partners, marketing team to identify advanced automotive application requirements and developing application notes, architecture implementations for China needs.
• Lead the China AAS application engineering team, provide intensive technical consulting service to selected leading customers.
• Lead the China AAS application engineering team, develop technical training package and deliver training to reginal customers, distributors as well as internal technical team.

Requirements:

• Master or doctor degree or 8+ years in relevant disciplines, such as automotive electronics, electronics/electrical engineering, embedded system, computer science, etc.
• 3+ years management experience in automotive R&D or technical team.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to comfortably work with multiple internal teams across global as well as customers
• Attitude of enthusiasm, curiosity, continuous learning, and desire for success as a team
• Fluent verbal and written English
• Willingness to travel domestic or international while needed
• The candidate who meet some below criteria are strongly preferred:

• Proficiency in NPI process of automotive Electronic and electrical system.
• Solid knowledge of automotive software development, validation and test
• Solid knowledge of automotive system such as infotainment, body, safety, ADAS, networking.
• Good Knowledge and hands-on experience of AUTOSAR and Functional Safety.
• Good knowledge of automotive industrial standards
• Passion for getting things done as well as pushing organization to preset direction
