As a Procurement & Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the Electrification Products Building Products (BU) based in Beijing; China. Design and execute SCM strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.

As a Procurement and Logistics Specialist, you will be reporting to SCM Manager under the division of Electrification Products and Business Unit Building Products.

? Responsible for supply side market intelligence and supplier profile analysis. Make plan for new supplier development and supplier improvement to enhance the supplier base.
? Optimize the supply chain and value chain. Implement effective sourcing strategy in line with the business strategy. Develop ODM and OEM partnership with key suppliers for Wiring Accessory Product Group (e.g. wall socket and switch products).
? Work across functions for supplier management and ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business. Work to optimize the total purchasing cost and quality at all stages of the product development.
? Cost analysis and cost control by various approaches, e.g. Rfq, bidding, e-sourcing, benchmark and outsourcing
? Work cross function to continuously optimize the technical specification, manufacture process and improve suppliers’ efficiency to contribute to cost saving of purchased goods.
? Manage supplier on-time and on-quality delivery to meet company KPI target.
? Work cross functions to manage suppliers’ production capacity to meet the demand periodicity, e.g. cooperating with other functions for demand and forecast management, plan and coordinate with suppliers to improve production flexibility.
? Early involvement in the R&D projects for new product development. Participate in the supply chain planning for new products and coordinate SCM activities according to the new product project target and schedule.
? Define and establish supply agreement with all major supplier in line with company directive and guidelines.
? Coordinate and handle commercial issue with suppliers. Build and enhance the supplier relationship in line with the requirement of integrity and compliance.
? Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

? Bachelor or master’s degree, major in Engineering.
? 3+ years of working experience with sourcing/supply chain management background in manufacturing.
? Souring experience for wall socket and switch products, especially OEM and ODM management experience in the electrical market will be preferred
? Result oriented and take ownership.
? Strategic and systematic thinking and Continuous Improvement focus.
? Good written and oral communication skills in English, negotiation skills.
