职位描述

Essential Responsibilities :

Manage team of Supplier Quality Engineers to drive quality, delivery and compliance excellencewithin the supply base for Steam Power

? Drive systematic improvement to meet COQ targets, On time FPQ approvals, OTD improvements, COFR targets and other SQ KPIs

? Mentor, coach and motivate the team and develop a strong leadership pipeline based on integrity and compliance

? Program Management Skills required. Ability to handle a wing to wing programmes.

? Drive a strong EHS culture throughout the supply base and within the team

? Identify and lead supplier development programs to continuously improve supplier performance

? Develop and execute audit schedules for both quality and EHS

? Supervise detailed Root Cause Analysis when issues arise, drive preventative actions that ensureissues don’t re-occur

? Manage budgets for Travel & Living as well as Engineering support, ensuring that the budgets areinitially set correctly and are followed closely

? Establish and monitor the supplier qualifications program

? Work closely with global Commodity Leaders and local Commodity Leaders to identify and assess new supplier opportunities

? Work cross functionally and cross business to support the growth of Steam Power

? Identify and execute process simplification ideas to improve the efficiency



Qualifications/Requirements :
?Degree in a technical/Engineering subject
?7+ years’ experience in Engineering/Quality/Project
?Ability to read technical documents/drawings/specifications
?Strong process/products/project experience on Steam Turbine/Turbo Generator and welding fabrication?6 Sigma Green/Black Belt

?Demonstrated technical aptitude and business acumen
?Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to perform cost assessments and analysis
?Ability and willingness to travel as required
?Green Belt / Black Belt Certified (GE employees only)
