Principal Big Data Engineer-SCM

Key Responsibilities:

As our principal Big Data Engineer for Supply Chain Automation Team，you are responsible for predicting what customers want to buy and automating the inventory ordering process. We create a daily demand forecast for all Coupang’s Retail SKUs, every day. We work with internal stakeholders to solve challenging Supply Chain problems at scale. Our systems ensure Coupang’s customers are delighted with consistently available products. Automation supports scale and efficiency of our Supply Chain processes.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in systems architecture, analysis and service system development is required
• Hands-on Core Java/Scala OO design and development skill

• 2+ years of professional experience in Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Spark, MongoDB, real-time streaming
• Experience in architecting, building and maintaining large-scale data infrastructure
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm, problem solving and complexity analysis
• Passion to learn new technologies
• A strong team player with ability to quickly triage and troubleshoot complex problems
• Comfortable working in an agile fast paced startup-like environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred :

· Have Experience on machine learning related is preferred

· Strong algorithm skill is preferred
