职位描述
- Senior sales engineer for LR (focus: wire rod mills). Dimension of function: reporting to section manager..
- Technical sales with high technical skills and preparation for technical specification. Ability to interface and network with other team members and important departments/fuctions/CoC's for the execution of his job: technical specification and cost calculation for LR mills.
- Sales engineer deals with all tasks of the pre-projects which are technical relevant: presentations to customers, attend technical meetings, prepare technical proposal and cost calculation and answer to bids/tenders, supports bid PM during techno-commercial negotiations and internal project hand-over to order management.
What are my responsibilties?
- Presentation to customers
- Preparation of technical specification
- Discussion and revision of technical specification with customers
- Order cost calculation
- Equipment dimensioning & calculation (especially process related)
- Support in preparing technical presentations to customers
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Knowledge
- Hot rolling of steel (wire rod mills) - Cad - Calculations - Foreign language
Experience
- Required: >5 years of professional experience in steel industrial plants (production, maintenance); preferred: wire rod mills
- Good competence at estimation and sinthesys
- Potential for being a sales manager
- Working with people of different cultures
Education
- Required: Bachelor; desired: Master
- Mechanical engineer, metallurgical engineer
