General Job Description:

    

Working with client (Shanghai Sales Office, 2018 Top 100 Global Technology Leaders, US Networking Technology Industry), the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that basic daily security system project procedures are conducted as efficiently as possible in Asia Pacific & Great China region. This position involves the undertaking multiple roles including that of technical engineer, commissioning engineer and service coordinator so as to promote redundancy and backup capability within the team. Responsibilities include system design, project management, system commissioning, project documentation, database administration, and Global Site Information management. Finally the Project Manager is a team player who accepts tasks and roles assigned by the Security Program Manager, APJCI.

    

    

Responsibilities:

    

1. Supporting the Security Program Manager with the assigned duties whether they are technical, commissioning, or service related.
2. Ensuring Client satisfaction by delivering high quality and on time servicing.
3. Working to meet team targets and promoting revenue growth for the company.
4. Increasing work productivity through better management of work stress, planning, and constant improvement of one’s abilities
5. Being a proactive member of the Client Embedded Team by practicing good team work, open communications, and leadership.

    

    

Major Responsibilities include:

    

System Design

    

1. With the Security System Design Standard (SDS) as reference – locate the various devices on the project floor plans using ACAD
2. Use the project Door schedule provided & propose suitable electronic locking hardware (or) request for any changes in the door type -so that the locking hardware mentioned in the SDS can be used
3. Advise the service provider engineer/PM or the LSP to walk the site (if needed) to access suitability of installing various devices being proposed & request to make some changes in the construction plan – if needed
4. Consider the existing system hardware & design the system needed if the project is a restack / refurbishment type.

    

    

Project Management

    

1. Generate the project schedule detailing all the various activities that would indicate dependencies & action plan to complete works required for commissioning the system.
2. Attend the Kick-off Meeting arranged by the Client Project Manager & explain in detail all works /activities to be performed by other contractors.
3. Send in weekly project status reports to the Client Project team. Also indicate on a weekly basis the variance from the project schedule initially submitted.
4. Liaise with various departments / functions to ensure that all activities related to System Installation is done.
5. Liaise between the LSP & the Commissioning resource to commission the installed system.
6. Handover all documentation like As-built drawings, Warranty certificate, Technical Manuals etc. to the assigned local Client contact.

    

    

Site Information Management

    

1. Generate all site related documentation like As-built drawings, Warranty certificate, Technical Manuals
2. Liaise with all related teams to manage the systems & information database.
3. Manage & Maintain all information that is uploaded into the system D on a regular basis.

    

    

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above.
2. Fluent English (oral and written); able to communicate in Mandarin.
3. At least 5 years working experience and 2 years project related work experience in the security industry or ELV industry.
4. Availability to travel internationally as required.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
6. Multitasker, demonstrating urgency and ownership to drive tasks and issues to completion.
7. Analytical problem solving ability, able to infer and synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills & ability to influence others.
9. Organized, highly attentive to detail and results oriented.
10. Windows Office and AutoCAD skill is required.
