DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the following:
1.1. IT Hardware and Software installation and upgrades
1.2. Maintenance of IT equipment (must be able to do 1st level and liaise with vendor for support)
1.3. CPS upgrades on the Service Center's servers (Office, Production, Validation Servers, and Workstations)
1.4. Implement software updates/changes in line with Change Control Process requirements
1.5. Systems housekeeping tasks
1.6. IT inventory, including warranties and supplies requirement
2. Escalate any data or system related issues with the appropriate customer contact and within OCS
3. Maintain an incident registry and raise and update incident reports for each problem until it is resolved.
4. Liaise with OCS Regional and Global Support group and contacts on raise issues.
5. Responsible for IT Security in the Service Center.
6. Assists Production Support Engineer in CPS Support.
7. Handles research tough problems, track down and resolve network and other issues encountered
8. Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATION/ELIGIBILITY
EDUCATION : Graduate of Computer Science/ Information Systems, and/or Engineering course
WORK EXPERIENCE : With 3-5 years experience with a strong understanding of implementing Windows in a multinational company.
Knowledge of Windows 2003/XP, IIS6, SQL Server 2005, Active Directory and Office suites.
Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and related networking protocols, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, etc.
OTHER SKILLS : Proven ability to research tough problems, track down and resolve network and other issues.
Understanding of Ethernet networks and future high speed technologies.
Effective English communication and interpersonal skills
Creative and resourceful
Analytic and ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment
DESIRED ATTITUDE : Excellent relational skills and the ability to work well independently in a team environment.
Ability to multi-task shifting priorities while maintaining continuity, manage/organize and complete assigned projects by given deadline.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, performs tasks with high regard to details.
With consistent and sound judgment; Has excellent leadership skill
Creative and resourceful
Team player and can work on minimal supervision
Willing to travel as may be required
