Responsibilities:

- Initiate, implement and monitor national and local CSR and diversity activities
- Work with other functions and CSR committees in Hangzhou, Nanjing, Chongqing, Chengdu, Changsha and Wuhan offices in developing and implementing their own CSR activities
- Support various communication channels, such as writing messages and updates for the firm’s internet, the CSR intranet portal, social media platforms and CSR reporting
- Support overall CSR and diversity strategic planning and budgeting
- Conduct research and provide analysis on China CSR issues
- Carry out due diligence work with existing and potential NGO partners in mainland China and Hong Kong
- Work with other relevant functions on annual carbon audit, communication strategies, award applications, etc., as well as involving in the strategic planning of reducing the firm’s carbon emissions
- Provide CSR and diversity related staff trainings and orientations
- Travel to rural China to lead some national volunteer activities

Experience and Knowledge:

- preferably with non-profit sector, CSR and sustainability experience.8 years relevant experience gained from sizeable company, in which at least 3 years at supervisory level
- Ability to handle multi-tasks and deal with people at all levels
- Substantial local knowledge in relation to government regulations around CSR and sustainability is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, forward planning and project management skills
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders, positive thinking, mental strength, assertiveness and open minded
- Ability to work independently with self initiative and as part of a team

Education and Professional Certifications:

- University degree

Other Requirements: 

- Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and oral
