Job Description:

As Intern in SOC power convergence, the candidate will be responsible for Invention, research and development of power measurement and optimization solutions for GPU SOC.

The role should understand power management , clock solutions, analyze and optimization perf/power consumption for soul use case, work with cross-function teams  like PDN/ASIC/Architecture/IP/FE/PV/Physical design team.

Job Requirement: 

MS/PHD Candidate.

• Knowledge of power management, performance (BW/Throughput/latency) definition.
• Understand perf/power of ICs
• Understand OpenCL, assembly code, C, Verilog/VHDL, UVM/OVM.
• Experience in Design/Verification/debugging low power technologies like clock gating, power gating, DVFS, stand mode, di/dt and so on…
• Experience in PTPX/ICC2/DC tooling and scripts like TCL, Perl, python
• Knowledge of the physic design and Design compiler.
• Knowledge of the ASIC design, like low power design coding style.
• Knowledge of one of the domains below is prefer:
• Concept of CPU/GPU architecture. Understand CPU/GPU Pipeline, like D3D, GPU shade (VS/HS/DS/GS/PS). GPU Computer (OpenCL/CUDA),
• Power management, like power/reset/clock
• Cache system, like Memory Consistency, Cache Coherence, prefetch and so on…
• Bus protocol, AXI, Multi-layer AHB, crossbar, NOC.
• Knowledge of the memory controller, familiar with DRAM.
• Performance/virtual platform modeling knowledge using ESL or system C and so on...

• Strong analytical skill and English ability, good at communicate and team work.
