Job Description

• Conduct research and pre-development on future e-mobility solutions and powertrain system
• Conduct mobility scenario analysis, use case analysis, requirement analysis for passenger car and commercial vehicle based on understanding of current status and trend of local market and technology
• E-drive system simulation and design optimization, vehicle operating strategy optimization
• Work closely with the Corporate Research headquarter in Renningen, Germany and the research center in Japan on project activities and competence development
• Work closely with business units in China to supply cutting edge technology solutions and to transform them to products
• Execute technology scouting that？ covers both academia and industry in China/Asia for preparing strategic decisions

• Prove innovation concept by pre-development including design, simulation, prototyping, test and validation
• Support project activities to transfer deliverables to business units successfully

Qualifications

• PhD degree or excellent Master in discipline of automotive engineering, electrical engineering, automation or mechanical engineering; knowledge on new energy vehicle system and powertrain is appreciated

• Practical experiences in system simulation, system optimization and operating strategy development is preferred

• Broad knowledge on mobility solutions, e-drive system and relevant components of new energy vehicle is preferred

• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written)

• International education and experiences is a plus

• Efficient, goal-oriented, structured working style, experienced in project work

• Passionate for innovation; filed patents on qualified content during PhD or prior work is a benefit

• Strong team player; open to work in an international environment
