As a Buyer, you will be part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Motors and generators (BU) Business unit, based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will be a vital member of the Procurement and Logistics team within the Large Motors & Generators PG/ Motors and Generators LBU/ Robotics and Motion division, in Shanghai state/China country/NAS region. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will provide support to the wider business by ensuring that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures.

？ Make and follow up purchasing order according to PR and ensure materials on-time delivery.
？ Coordinate suppliers and related Dept. to solve defective parts problem timely for keeping the production line running.
？ Support Sourcing team to co-operate with supplier to improve purchasing and logistics, down material cost.
？ Analyze material shortage status and take corrective action for production need.
？ Involved in supplier performance assessment.

？ Bachelor’s Degree or similar, major in Mechanical/Electrical or Automation (Preferred).
？ Familiar with MS Office, SAP or other ERP-system.
？ Accurate, working under pressure and high level of sense of urgency.
？ Good command and communication skills.
？ Fluent in Mandarin and English.
