AI Software Engineer/Manager

Location: Shanghai

Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineering Manager to join a global powerhouse to work on game-changing projects and to work with switched on engineers. You will be responsible for managing a cross functional team working on pre-sales, software development and support both for AI and video. The successful candidate will help shape the responsibilities and build the team.

- Manage a multi-functional team supporting customers, assisting with development and support legacy products.

- Manage the recruitment of technical staff for your team

- Provide technical guidance to others on the team.

- Task manage and track using project management tools

- Conducting Performance Reviews

- Produce regular progress/status updates

- Risk Identification and Communication

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in electronics/computing/Software etc.

- Demonstrable experience in similar engineering management role

- Line management experience of team leads

- Experience with project management tools

- Proactively identify and address issues

- Experience or a strong interest in Artificial intelligence.

- Experience or a strong interest in Video decoder or Video encode

- An appreciation of computer architecture concepts (CPU, Cache, MMU, Memory, etc.)
