Key objectives
? Test Analysis / Design / Execution / Reporting, and Test coordination
o Test Analysis, Design test cases according to business/functional specification
o Test preparation (environment, data, access) and execution
o Coordination of other testers across teams/departments
o Issue detection, report, analysis, follow up and retest, escalation, and test reporting
Duties and responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Coordination of test activities performed by multiple testers across teams/departments
? Make test analysis, design test cases and execution
? Preparation of test prerequisites (like test data, test environment)
? Record and monitor issues/defects, Communicate with IT analyst team and development team in the resolution, Re-test fixes/solutions/issues, execute manual tests with various technologies
? Test status/progress Report
? Create and maintain test documentation
INPUTS
? Project/Task announcement - the input for test project (including schedule, tasks, participants)
? Requirement/Functional Specification - the input for test tasks
? Test environment 
? Testing Tools - the tool used during test execution (like JIRA, SOAPUI)
OUTPUTS
? Test plan/cases
? Test Reports as sign off for SIT or for production deployment
Requirements
Personal characteristics
Need-to-have areas
? Bachelor or equivalent degree in IT
? Fluent English (spoken and written)
? Customer oriented and eye for details
? Analytical skill both for test plan and issue investigation
? Good team player, and communication skills across teams
? Ability to work independently under pressure, Reliability and Flexibility
Nice-to-have areas
Experience and expertise
Need-to-have areas
? At least 5 years experience in IT test or development
? Skilled in test theory, test design and execution
? Skilled in problem analysis and investigation
? Good understanding of IT applications/architecture/data flow
? Knowledge of SQL, XSD, WSDL
? Advanced experience with MS Office (Visio, Excel, Word)
Nice-to-have areas
? Familiar with JIRA, SOAP UI or other testing tools
? Knowledge of development tools/languages
? Experience/Knowledge with IT project management and delivery lifecycle
