As an Sales Technical Support Specialist, you will be part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Motors & Generators (BU) Business unit based on Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will play a key support role for the Sales team, preparing sales proposals in Large Motors & Generators PG/ Motors & Generators LBU/ Robotics and Motion division, Shanghai state/China country/NAS region, your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in bringing efficient and effective solutions to customers.

1. Prepare comments & deviation acc.to customer specification for sales projects.
2. Use factory design tools to design and provide technical solution acc. to customer requirements to complete sales offering.
3. Support sales to do technical clarification to customer.
4. Execute technical solution quality improvement projects to improve customer satisfaction.
5. Work as a contact window between sales and factory to secure smooth implementation of sales projects.
6. Narrow factory manufacturing gap, enlarge factory technical offering.
7. Design useful tools/apps for easy, smart selling.
8. Conduct training & technical communication to customer to increase customer satisfaction.
9. Make proposals on industry customized products by fully analyzing market needs and industry feature.
10. Support PG finance controller to prepare risk review assessment.
11. Conduct product-level competitive analysis.

? Bachelor’s or master’s degree, major in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
? Experience in Electrical Machine design is preferred.
? Expert in Machine application is a plus.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levels.
? Enthusiastic, innovative and able to change.
? Ability to work globally within different cultures.
? Good in English.
