Accounting Manager (AP, AR, GL, INVENTORY CONTROL) - a world leading Luxury Company
The company:
One of the world's leading apparel and accessories groups that operates in the two fastest growing market segments: Luxury and Sport & Lifestyle.
Now they are looking for accounting manager (AP, AR, GL, Inventory control), in their new share service centre.
The role:
AP accounting manager
The AP Team Leader reports to the Head of SSC
Responsibilities:
? Recruiting new personnel to AP Team, training and coaching
? Setting objectives for AP, performance appraisal and agreeing of personal development plans for AP staff
? Meeting SPA targets and proposing changes
? Designing detailed process within Accounts Payable, in cooperation with Brand Finance managers and other departments
? Conducting continuous improvement of processes within Accounts Payable and sharing "Best in Class" practises
? Testing and implementing any IT ptojects related to Purchase to Pay process
? Participating to the implementation of AP processes before the SSC goes live"
? Coordinates and monitors day-to-day operations
? Ensures good performance against KPIs related to Accounts Payable (SPA)
? Plans, organizes and defines roles for AP staff to ensure that customer service expectations are met or exceeded
Requirements:
? 10 years of experience, including 3 years experience at least in a similar position (prior experience in a SSC would be appreciate)
? Recognised professional qualification in accountancy
? Experience from prior work in an accounting department
? General knowledge of processes within Finance Function and good understanding of the Payables function
? Process knowledge associated with an ERP-application
? Experience in Cash Management will be preferred
? Knowledge of Chinese accounting rules
? English is mandatory
AR accounting manager
The AR & CM Team Leader reports to the Head of SSC
Responsibilities:
? Negotiating with the banks for credit facilities and financing
? Recruiting new personnel to Accounts receivable and Bank accounting/Treasury Team, training and coaching
? Setting objectives for Accounts receivable and Bank Accounting/Treasury, performance appraisal and agreeing on staff personal development plans
? Meeting SPA targets and proposing changes
? Designing detailed process within Accounts Receivable and bank accounting/treasury, in cooperation with Brand Finance managers and other departments
? Conducting continuous improvement of processes and sharing "Best in Class" practises
? Testing and implementing any IT ptojects related to Order to Cash process
? Participating to the implementation of AR and BA/Treasury processes before the SSC goes live
Requirements:
? Experience, business and tecnical skills :
? 10 years of experience, including 3 years experience at least in a similar position (prior experience in a SSC would be appreciate)
? Recognised professional qualification in accountancy
? Experience from prior work in an accounting department
? General knowledge of processes within Finance Function and good understanding of the Receivables function
? Process knowledge associated with an ERP-application
? Experience in Cash Management will be preferred
? Knowledge of Chinese accounting rules
? English is mandatory
GL accounting manager
The GL Team Leader reports to the Head of SSC
Responsibilities:
? Recruiting new personnel to GL Team, training and coaching
? Setting objectives for GL, performance appraisal and agreeing on staff personal development plans
? Meeting SPA targets and proposing changes
? Designing detailed GL process, in cooperation with Brand Finance managers and other departments
? Conducting continuous improvement of processes and sharing "Best in Class" practises
? Testing and implementing any IT ptojects related to GL process
? Participating to the implementation of GL processes before the SSC goes live
Requirements:
? 10 to 15 years of experience, including 5 years leadership experience in the general accounting function or in a similar environment (prior experience in a SSC would be appreciate)
? Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting
? Experience from prior work in an accounting department
? General knowledge of processes within Finance Function and good understanding of General Accounting function
? Process knowledge associated with an ERP-application
? Knowledge of Chinese and IFRS accounting rules
? English is mandatory

Inventory control leader (senior accountant)
The Inventory Control Team Leader reports to the Head of SSC
Responsibilities:
? Recruiting new personnel to Inventory Control Team, training and coaching
? Setting objectives for Inventory Control, performance appraisal and agreeing on staff personal development plans
? Meeting SPA targets and proposing changes
? Designing detailed Inventory Control process, in cooperation with Controllers and other departments
? Conducting continuous improvement of processes and sharing "Best in Class" practises
? Testing and implementing any IT ptojects related to Inventory Control process
? Participating to the implementation of Inventory Control processes before the SSC goes live"
? Coordinates and monitors day-to-day operations
Requirements:
? 10 to 15 years of experience, including 3 years experience at least in a similar position (prior experience in a SSC would be appreciate)
? Experience from prior work in an Inventory Control team and good understanding of Logistics and Retail processes
? Process knowledge associated with an ERP-application
? Knowledge of Chinese practises
? English is mandatory"
