JOB DESCRIPTION

In our Emerging Countries Division, specialized in branded dairy products business (Président, Galbani Lactel, …), you work for the Lactalis Trading Shanghai. It’s a business entity created in 2009, in charge of the business development of our local clients for retail and food service channels.

ACCOUNTANT (M/F) - SHANGHAI

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Based in the Lactalis China Head Office, in Shanghai, you will report directly to the Accounting Manager. As such, you will be responsible for issuing sales invoice, bank reconciliation, monthly AR statement distribution and ageing following up. Verifying invoices and making payments. Other tasks, like internal or external audit support etc. are also the position’s responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Bookkeeping:
2. Booking cash receipt journal, cash payment journal.
3. Ensure timely and accurate recording of various type of invoices & expenses in system.
4. Monthly AR statement distribution to internal customers.

7. Monitor compliance of local teams with Company policies in T&E, general and administrative expenses in the process of purchase and expense transaction handling.
8. Prepare the weekly Payment Request list for management approval.
9. Making payments in Diapason system and by hard copy for domestic and oversea fund transfers.
10. Matching in Diapason the movements at bank account statement with the payment applications.
11. Create new vendor cards and maintain in Navision system.

13. Invoicing: Prepare re-invoice for oversea billing, issue fapiao (China VAT invoices).
14. Tax: Prepare monthly and quarterly tax return, online certification of input VAT.

17. Declaration to the bank and SAFE for foreign receipt, such as trade or Non-trade.
18. Perform monthly bank account reconciliation, plus reconciliations against AR & AP related sub ledger.
19. Prepare the monthly report of WOFE expenses.

1. Fixed assets:
2. Monitor capitalization of purchased assets reaching capitalization threshold.
3. Perform monthly depreciation of fixed assets capitalized.

1. Maintain filings according to accounting requirements.
2. To go on some errands to bank and tax bureau.
3. Complete other jobs assigned by direct supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant subjects;
• 2 years or more work experience in MNC, experience with SAP or ERP is preferred;
• Ability to use efficiently for MS Excel;
• Integrity, Responsible, detail oriented and team work
