职位描述

Position: NCBS / Customer

Division/Department: Sales & Marketing /Product Strategy

Location: Beijing

Your Responsibilities:

Market research

  • In-depth analysis of core Group studies (BIC/NCBS/Sigma/Funnel Analysis) to understand Chinese automotive market and customers’ needs and expectations

  • Development and steering of qualitative product clinics (Nextpractice) and product-related customer analyses

  • Support Kuzu product satisfaction by delivering all NCBS customer satisfaction related topics

  • Support the development of core Group studies by giving market improvement proposals on questionnaire, screener and interviewee sample and by recommending brands and models which should be included in the studies

Customer Trend Forecasting

  • Prepare NCBS Top-Management Reporting (e.g. for VGC BoM, Excom Region China, Shareholder meetings, MVs etc.)

New product planning

  • Analyze VW products and equipment within NCBS date
  • Responsible for coordination / steering / analysis of market research for VW brand and liaison with Group Market Research China, Group functions (e.g., K-VM) and VW Headquarters
  • Ensure result / recommendation availability at relevant PEP milestone

Prepare Top Management meetings and presentations on future development of Chinese automotive customers and societal trends

  • Top Management meetings: VGC Excom, VGIC Excom, C-KVV, partly VS, partly MV

Regular interaction and alignment with Group Market Research, Corporate strategy and other Group functions (e.g., K-VM) as well as VW Brand Headquarter to ensure implementation of latest methodologies and standards

  • Improve market research quality and steer implementation of VW Group standards

  • Develop ideas for process optimization and automation of processes (e.g. templates, analysis, factbooks)

Know-how transfer

  • Ensure implementation of group processes, standards and methodology across all projects, i.e.market research standards,segment planning, portfolio planning and substitution

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

  • University degree Bachelor (Master/MBA advantageous): business, economics, marketing and sales, business management or similar, industrial engineering

  • Preferred subject major in automotive management or automotive engineering

Personal skills:

  • Strategic thinking

  • Self-driven, Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Readiness to accept responsibility

  • Strong project, problem solving and time management skills

  • Communication skill, persuasive appearance

  • MS Office proficient

  • Excellent oral and written expression ability

  • Client and detail oriented, work well independently and in a team environment

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of product strategy and marketing experience, with 1+ years in the automotive sector

  • Professional market research, customer research and product research knowledge and experience

  • Understanding of sociology and psychology

  • Knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques

  • Knowledge of automotive engineering and automotive industry

  • Experience in Chinese automotive market, Joint Venture steering

  • Professional work experiences in relevant field as data management, business analysis and/or research analysis

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

  • MS Office proficient , i.e. Excel & Powerpoint skill

  • Advanced knowledge in auto industry, including major players and their products, government policies, product segmentation methodology and etc

  • Statistics & consumer research knowledge

  • Analytical skills

  • SPSS Training certificate is a plus

  • Proficiency in technical report & memo creation, Industry knowledge in automotive industry

  • English & Chinese language skills essential, good at official English writing, German advantageous
