Job Function The Customer Service Representative is a key team member required to provide world-class customer service. Responsibilities include management of the entire order fulfillment cycle from forecast to post delivery service.
The Customer Service Representative interfaces with customers, sales management, finance, product development, program management, planning and procurement, export compliance, operations, and legal personnel to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities - Agreements management facilitates sales management and coordinates with legal to manage related agreements.
- Order management - Manages all customer orders with planning, procurement, sales, and export compliance departments. Enters customer orders in ERP, provides commitments to Customers... Ensures purchase orders are consistent with Qualcomm terms and conditions, current quotations, and related agreements. Maintains sales order files by customer.
- Re-schedules & Allocation - Manages customer priorities with product availability to ensure critical demands are met. Coordinates with management and relevant personnel to affect product schedule changes for existing orders when applicable. Reschedule deliveries in ERP as necessary, and provides new commitments to customers and sales management.
- Forecast - Obtains input from Customers on projected forecasts and ensure that they are properly loaded into system.
- Payment Facilitate letters of credit, wire transfer, and coordinates with finance to ensure that payment documents are consistent with Qualcomm policy. Ensures required export documentation is obtained from customers.
- Shipment Manages smooth shipments with Operations, and facilitates customers on customs clearance and any other shipping issues.
- PCNs & RMAs - Coordinates with quality engineers on new product release and process change notice. Resolves any shipment discrepancies or customer complaints with regard to shipments that are incomplete, damaged, late, or lack of appropriate documentation. Identifies and reports to management corrective actions necessary to improve systems and processes.
- Sales support - develops, maintains and distributes reports as applicable for customers and sales personnel.
- Accomplishes special projects as directed by management.
Skills/Experience - A minimum of 5 years experience in customer service or related roles.
- It is a plus to have a working experience in various areas of the supply chain.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficient in oral and written communications in both English and Chinese
- Strong analysis, problem solving, judgment and decision making skills.
- Strong sense of urgency to satisfy customer needs and ability to interpret and balance customer needs with corporate objectives.
- Uses diplomacy, is responsive, has the ability to diffuse situations, and conveys world-class customer service attitude.
- Follows through consistently, pays close attention to details and able to multi-task.
- Able to work under high pressure and ready to change.

Additional Skills:
Previous experience with a multi-national company in handset or semi-conductor industry a strong plus
Education Requirements Bachelors degree or above
