Position: Facade Engineer



Location: China


Purpose: to monitor the contractors' planning, progress and quality of the facade works in compliance with the contract program and Employer's Requirements.



Responsibilities:

1. To assist Project Manager to complete project by providing for technical support in fa?ade engineering.

2. Follow defined project design, quality, program, cost and safety management process & system for working scope allocated by Project Manager.

3. Serve as the key contact for communication efforts regarding project scope, planning, scheduling, manufacturing status, installation and maintenance issues of facade.



Competency:


Education & Qualification

Degree of Civil Engineering, Construction management.



Knowledge & Experience

1. More than 5 years fa?ade specific experience.

2. Project management experience of large fa?ade projects.

3. Experience in curtain wall profile and knowledge of typical cladding systems.

4. Knowledge of management for fa?ade design.

5. Familiar with China design codes and standards in relating to fa?ade engineering.

6. Knowledge of project program scheduling & monitoring.

7. Experience of site construction & safety management

8. Capable of interpersonal and communication skills, academic writing skill for project reports.

9. Office software, AutoCAD 2000, Microsoft Project and other necessary software skills.

10. Able to work under pressure, be willing to travel and work for projects out of Shanghai.

11. Spoken and written in English preferable.

12. Working experiences from Project Management company or related consulting firms preferable.
